OUR NUMBERS

The Cavanna Olii production plant is located in the industrial area of ​​Casella, 30 kilometers from the port of Genoa, and extends over a total area of ​​25,500 square meters of which 8,500 square meters are covered.

Packaging takes place on 5 highly automated lines, with a production potential of approximately 300,000 liters per day, equal to over 150,000 packages per day, or more than 30 million pieces per year. The company’s commitment to research and innovation translates into significant investments to improve the quality of the offer and production capacity.

PRODUCTION FILLING LINES

The cutting-edge technology of our 5 production filling lines allows us to package using bottles in different formats (from 250 ml up to 10 lt) and materials (PET, Glass, Tin and Bag in box).

1. Fast filling line (up to 18,000 bottles/h):
specialized in the processing of 750 ml Marasca glass bottles.

2. Filling line (up to 8,000 bottles/h):
for different glass models, from 250 ml to 1 lt.

3. Filling line (up to 8,000 liters/h):
for glass and PET bottles, from 250 ml to 2 lt, in different models. Also suitable for multi-packs, from 2 to 4 pieces.

4. Filling line (up to 8,000 liters /h.):
for PET, glass and tin cans, from 500 ml to 5 lt. Ideal for production in containers larger than 2 liters.

5. Filling line (up to 5,000 bottles / h.):
specialized in small and medium glass containers from 250 ml to 1 lt.

FILTERING PROCESS

We have invested in a latest-generation, fully automated extra virgin olive oil filtering system that allows for better filtering quality.

Constant monitoring of all physical parameters of the olive oil (temperature, viscosity, clarity, pressure, etc.).

Average flow rate of approximately 120 tons per day.

STORAGE AND WAREHOUSE

The storage of the raw material takes place in stainless steel tanks on the surface and partly in a semi-underground area at controlled temperature: the overall capacity is approximately 5 million liters.

Storage and warehousing of the finished product are controlled by a management software that allows complete traceability of the product.
